Welcome to Delicious to Me! This site is dedicated to sharing some of the things we have learned in our journey to create a fulfilling, or you could say a ‘delicious’ life. Travel tips, destination ideas, good eats, and reviews are just a few of the things we will share.

Many of my most cherished memories growing up come from trips we went on as a family. As a child, my grandparents owned a Timeshare and every year we all looked forward to a trip with our grandparents, cousins, aunts, and uncles. Usually these trips were within a days driving distance, but they let us leave the stresses of life behind in favor of game nights, eating out, laughing, playing, swimming, exploring, and building family bonds.

Now as a mother of four boys, I love introducing them to new cultures, helping them explore the world around, finding experiences where they can expand their palates by tasting different cuisines, and laughing along the way. I made a goal a while back to visit all 50 states, we are now in the 40’s and have visited several countries and I can tell you that each place we have gone is amazing! This is an incredible world in which we live!

One thing I think is important:  I don’t think you have to go far to have an incredible experience. In fact, my first plane trip was in High School! But I do think it is important to get away from your home every once in a while. Now, as my husband works in travel we are fortunate to have more frequent and exotic trips but each place we go, whether near or far, holds a special place in my heart!

So many times people share that they wish that they could travel, or have amazing experiences, or on and on. I am here to tell you that NOW is the time to make it happen. Like I said before, you don’t have to go far to make memories. Some of the best ones can be found in our own backyards. The key is to be deliberate and not let life pass you by, wishing for ‘some-day’. We are here to help you see the world in a new way, to share ideas of things that have and haven’t worked for us, to help you explore new cultures and places, and to help spur ideas for things that will help you create your own ‘delicious’ life!
